Assoc Technology Consultant I – GSAP – Archer
Description
The Associate Technical Consultant (ATC) role at RSA requires an intelligent, goal oriented, creative and energetic individual with a strong technical aptitude that wants to win. The ATC will participate in the RSA Associate TC Program to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel at core job responsibilities. The program will provide the necessary training and mentoring to provide a firm foundation for entry into a career in the RSA Sales Engineering organization working with the ArcherGovernance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) product offerings.
Our goal is to exceed customer expectations by providing value to our clients through leveraging the Archer SmartSuite Framework and our core solutions. Our team is geographically distributed across the US and is aligned with our customer / prospect base supported by the efforts of our Marketing, Product Management, Client Services, Support and Engineering teams. Together the ATC and Account Manager work to understand business requirements of the client and make recommendations, leveraging their capabilities to create in a Win-Win relationship.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts.
* Supports sales personnel by developing technical strategies to deliver RSA solutions that support business objectives of customers.
* Provide technical guidance during product demonstrations, presentations, and pilot implementations
* Analyze customer business requirements, build proof-of-concept solutions, and demonstrate solutions back to prospective customers
* Provide technical training to clients and communicate customer feedback into future product developments.
* Collaborate with engineering team to develop custom integration solutions where required
* Deliver sales and technical pre-sales support to customers
* Deliver product training and knowledge around the RSA Archer solutions to customers, channel partners, and technology partners
* Deliver onsite and online presentations and demonstrations to customers and internal sales teams
* Maintain full knowledge and hands-on proficiency with company product lines (specifically Archer) and major competitor’s product lines
Skills
* General knowledge of business process analytics, IT infrastructure, and enterprise security principals; may have experience as an application developer, network engineer, or systems administrator
* Ability to solve technical problems independently
* Consultative approach to problem solving.
* Persuasive
* Ability to deliver product demonstrations to C-level executives, managers, and technical system administrators
* Ability to speak in front of small to medium size audiences (1 to 100 people)
* Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in support of multiple sales team members and customers (delivering sales demos, building quality proof-of-concepts, and deliver training).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong knowledge of information security topics and technology
Education Required
Bachelors Degree (preferably Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS)
Experience Required
1-3 Years
Business Travel Required
