Purpose
? Perform Warehouse Management system to be highly accurate in the accounting of company property. Coordinate/manage flow of goods and materials to/from docks to support delivery deadlines of inbound & outbound loads, while maximizing load productivity. Work with production personnel, to support timely delivery of product. Work with management to support timely delivery of production counts to customer. Meticulously maintain appropriate logs/records of inbound/outbound loads and inventory.

Essential Job Functions
? Perform cycle counts & report any variances.
? Maintain Warehouse Management System
? Perform various inbound & outbound CMMS/ILVS functions.
? Process & file receiving & shipping documents.
? Communicate to dispatch assign loads to CEVA drivers to protect the needs of the customer.
? Communicate with direct inbound drivers to proper locations for unloading, ensure inbound & reloads are followed.
? Generate supplier trouble reports when material does not match packing list for goods received. At end of shift check packing list and journal, making necessary corrections when required by specific procedures.
? Communicate with customer and suppliers concerning load & material issues & status.
? Manage Scanner/battery allocations to staff including trouble shooting equipment problems.
Failure to meet required quality and quantity of work as outlined during monthly staff meetings will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Supporting Job Functions
? Manage and update various databases for training, process walks, performance, attendance, ect. Used for tracking process compliance, induced failures, internal/external errors, training history, ect. And communicate performance issues with managements.
? Manage hiring process for warehouse, including reviewing candidates applications & resumes, schedule interviews, sequencing & drug testing, paperwork, and maintain hiring system within Ceridian.
? Prepare, collect, track classroom material for training/orientation.
? Maintain personnel files
? Telephone duties including but not limited to answering & directing phone calls, taking messages, & checking voicemail
? Ordering office supplies, various warehouse needs, labels, and ribbons.
Knowledge & Critical Skills
? Ability to manage “traffic” to ensure the correct trucks are in the correct docks at the correct time.
? Good Physical skills on equipment & an aptitude for manual work
? Good communication skills
? Excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills
? Solid knowledge of the computer systems in use by customer
? Solid equipment & parts knowledge
? Knowledgeable of warehousing theory
? Knowledgeable on shipping methods & procedures
Physical Demand and Working Conditions:
? Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
? Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are frequently required both inside and outside.
? Talking, hearing, manual dexterity, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required.
? Able to work with fingers to pick, pinch, and type and carry out substantial movements (motions) of the wrist and hands as well.
? The worker is subject to both hazards and environmental conditions. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to fork lifts, exc.
Requirements – Minimum
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Regular attendance in conformance with set schedule, which may be changed to reflect the business needs of the industry. Irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to & including termination of employment.
? Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when requested.
? Must be able to speak, read, write, & understand the primary language(s) used in the work place to facilitate the communication process.
? Basic knowledge of Microsoft Software with expertise in developing Excel spreadsheets
? Ability to fully comply with CEVA Logistics rules & regulations for the safe & effective operations of the business facilities.
