Job Title: Government Contract Compliance Officer
Location: Wood Dale, IL
Overview: The Government Contract Compliance Officer is the focal point for information on all areas of government regulations, contract requirements, and oversight which impact AAR and is responsible for averting risk to AAR through monitoring internal controls and compliance with the regulations and contract requirements.
Education/
Experience: Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Masters Degree preferred -Minimum of 8-10 years experience in government contracting compliance management -Previous experience in a government contracting environment -Government contracting certification or similar credentials preferred.
General
Comments: •Provides internal controls and compliance and acts as the focal point for information on all areas of government relations. •Works within the business units and with the Corporate Counsel and Senior Leadership Team to formulate the corporate compliance strategy and operating plan to achieve success with regulatory agencies. •Responsible for the global oversight of the end- to-end corporate compliance process. This includes reviewing, planning, and implementing initiatives and training related to compliance, as well as, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of regulatory compliance with the laws, and regulations of both governing bodies and third party agencies. •Continuously conduct internal reviews of compliance with regulatory and contract requirements throughout the contract life cycle. •Interacts with each of the different business units and plans and participates in the execution of regulatory and contract compliance audits.
