Responsibilities
Develop a research program and seek after funding opportunities, especially in the areas of On Line Monitoring (OLM),diagnostics and monitoring of nuclear plants.Contribute to and lead less senior engineers in conducting and leading the expected growth of this research and related activities. Ideal candidate should be able to interact with technical contacts across the nuclear instrumentation and control community and expected to perform complex and unique tasks independently within expected schedules and deliverables.

Qualifications
Ph.D. and 2-5 years experience/equivalent
Master’s Degree and 4-7 years of experience/equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree and 9-11 years experience/equivalent

A minimum of a B.S. degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science and preferably an MSEE with a BSCE. Considerable knowledge and experience with instrumentation, control, and data acquisition systems. This level of knowledge and skill is acquired from working with various control systems over at least a three year period. Considerable knowledge of electrical, electronic, control, and computer systems in industrail or nuclear Reactor facilities. Considerable knowledge and experience with software engineering, and programming. Considerable knowledge of application software development tools and software.

Environmental, Safety & Health
Must be familiar with, and comply with all relevant health and safety requirements. Must be knowledgeable of emergency action policies and procedures, methods for reporting/resolving work practices or conditions to available cognizant professionals.
