Posting Job Description Position Summary:
This position is responsible for completing installations and disconnects as well as other services and activities associated with the operation and maintenance of the cable, broadband, and telephony systems.
Essential Job Functions:
• Complete scheduled installations, disconnects and other activities associated with the operation and maintenance of a cable, broadband, and telephony systems on time.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor technical problems.
• Relate well with the public and sell product services when appropriate.
Job Requirements:
• Ability to work well alone and in teams.
• Accurately complete work orders, forms and reports as required.
• Collect and account for late payments and other monies from customers.
• Maintain and stock company assigned vehicle.
• Recognize and comply with all safety policies and regulations.
• Maintain the flexibility to vary workload to meet constantly changing demands.
• Possess a positive and professional attitude and maintain a presentable appearance.
• Must be able to work schedule company deems appropriate to satisfy subscriber needs.
• Prompt and regular attendance.

Human Relations:
Has extensive contact with customers and the general public. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
Materials and Equipment Used:
Ladders, drills, small hand tools, Field Strength Meters, VOM’s and TV test sets.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Must be able to climb ladders and gaff telephone/utility poles to a height of approximately 24 feet and to lift 75 pounds from floor to shoulder and from shoulders up.
• Must be at an acceptable weight regarding the company’s Weight Compliance Safety Policy; i.e., using a ladder with weight capacity of 300 lbs that you would be able to comply considering your weight and the weight of the tools and/or equipment you are using does not exceed the total weight capacity.
• Efficiently use hand tools and to lift and handle ladders weighing approximately 68 pounds.
Repetitive climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting motions.
• Physically able to work in adverse weather conditions and confined spaces.
