Digital Media Planner
Description
Alloy Digital, the online division of Alloy Media + Marketing is seeking a Digital Media Planner to join our Digital group in Los Angeles, CA. This role will be responsible for developing online media plans in accordance with the objectives and strategies communicated by the Planning group. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of digital planning and work closely with all cross-functional groups within Alloy Digital.
Responsibilities:
* Create online media plans in response to client/agency RFPs
* Assist sales staff in positioning proposals to advertisers
* Determining placement of media on publisher sites
* Utilize research and reporting tools to gather competitive insight (comScore, Quantcast, Google Analytics, etc)
* Entry of approved media plans into client interfaces such as MediaVisor and Atlas
* Create compelling case studies showcasing success of executed campaigns
* Work in tandem with editorial, web development, design, legal, and other cross functional groups to develop programs and ensure all aspects of campaigns are feasible
* Provide general department assistance as needed
Requirements:
* 1-2 years experience in media planning or buying at agency, ad network, or publisher
* Knowledge of the terminology and mechanics of the online advertising industry
* Personal responsibility to deliver quality, timely, and accurate work
* Ability to think creatively to develop successful online programs for clients
* Strong organizational skills – able to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work well with other team members
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* BA/BS degree
