Agile PM/Scrum Master
MATRIX Professional Services is seeking an Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master with strong Scrum implementation and Sprint facilitation skills to fill a highly visible position on our Professional Services team. In this role you will work with client technical development teams, product owner, and stakeholders to implement and facilitate them through the Scrum process and 2-3 week development sprints. You will act as the Scrum Master creating and maintaining the backlogs and burndown charts as well as facilitating and coaching the Sprint Planning meetings, Daily Scrum meetings, and Sprint Review meetings, focusing on Client’s Customer Care Agent Tool, used by agents interfacing supporting residential customers. This highly visible role requires someone to have strong communication skills who is able to mentor and guide the client, product owner, and geographically dispersed (on-site & offshore) team members through the Scrum process.
2+ years managing Agile/SCRUM projects
8+ years of Project Management experience managing multiple teams of resources
Experience assisting/leading up Agile/Scrum methodology
Self-starter with Consultant Mentality – Need to be able to coach and guide the client
Experience managing custom development projects required
Client Interface experience – must have external client/customer consulting/project management experience
Ability to interact and communicate with senior level clients
Experience working with cross functional teams in large organizations
Must be able to work additional hours, beyond 8 per day, as necessary, to complete tasks required (or meet deadlines)
Initial travel limited, but must be willing to travel
