Enterprise Microsoft SQL / IIS Infinity Platform Engineer
The Enterprise Administrator & Engineer will be responsible for performance and support and on-going operations of Infinity & Edge based applications within the Enterprise Sales & Marketing teams. This person should have an in depth SQL Server background with deep experience in multi tenancy virtual database architecture and IIS infrastructure. The incumbent will have with a broad and deep understanding of Microsoft’s development technology stack. They will lead and coordinate Sales & Marketing demonstration technical initiatives within the Enterprise Customer Business Unit (ECBU).
Job Responsibilities
· Engineering, installation, configuration, maintenance and 24×7 on-call support for hardware, operating systems and applications associated with Microsoft/SQL/Citrix/VMware/Web server environment(s)
· Coordinate SDE environmental initiates with Product Development, Hosting, Support, Professional Services and Product Management
· Develop and maintain performance standards and best practices establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
· Train Sales Marketing team as needed to maximize availability and reliability of server environment(s)
· Support performance and infrastructure needs of new images provisioning and stand -up
· Responsible for monitoring and SDE database strategies, application performance of infinity based applications and providing first level support.
· Proactively identify and implement application, infrastructure and operating system monitoring/alerting for security, performance and predicted growth support of Sales
· Coordinate and Assist in resolving performance issues that affect product demonstration troubleshooting functional feature capabilities and scalability issues
· Work closely with the IT and Infrastructure teams on system performance and maintenance strategies
· Support deployment of enterprise applications internally and externally
