About the Job
Job Description
This position manages the global internal and external communication function and a team of communication professionals. It provides support to the organization on all communication matters including: newsletters, press releases, employee communications, surveys, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
MBA or Master’s degree in Communications or related field strongly preferred.
Three + years external communications experience working on items such as investor relations, press releases, Quarterly Earnings Reports, and Earnings Calls.
Three + years of relevant communications/writing experience as a global communications specialist or manager, in a publicly traded corporate environment.
Experience handling communications with unplanned events
Experience working with Senior Executives
Very strong writing skills are essential.
Tactical, hands-on experience including development of key messages, creating
presentations for global internal and external audiences, editing services and supporting operations with communications materials.
An action-oriented, results-driven approach with a high aptitude and a strong desire for learning and success.
Superior analytical and interpersonal skills, along with an attitude and ability to get things done.
Willingness to engage proactively with business leaders.
A collaborative work style with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility and partner with internal customers and co-workers.
Strong organizational and project management skills
The ability to successfully manage a wide variety of simultaneous communications projects.
