Prepare or assist in the preparation of ISP and/or OSP job order schedules.
Monitor work in progress and schedules to ensure scheduled dates are met.
Direct and/or coordination with Region and contract personnel involved in ISP installations and construction projects to ensure timely completion consistent with Company requirements.
Coordinate and inspect completed projects for compliance with contract requirements.
Verify and approve C.U.P. sheets for comparison to invoicing and to ensure the timely and accurate payment of contractor invoices.
Assist in formal pre-construction and/or pre-installation meetings for all major projects to ensure complete understanding of the project details and requirements.
Periodic inspection of ISP job orders completed for quality workmanship along with “final” review on all major contracts to ensure installation and quality of all construction as stated under R.U.S. and/or Telephone Group construction practices.
Work with Region Operations and other company personnel to coordinate cutover schedules of both routine and specific job orders.
Review material orders/receive schedules for job orders to ensure material availability.
Provide activity completion dates and revised schedules to Engineering and Region personnel.

Assist in acceptance testing of ISP projects to ensure all information is gathered for preparation of “as build” drawings and schematics
Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Vocational or Technical certificate in a related field or the equivalent in training and experience.
Minimum of 8 years experience in engineering, plant construction, and/or telecommunication related field or the equivalent in training and education.
Working knowledge of engineering practices and procedures.
Knowledge of basic contract law.
Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, and operations related to ISP installations and construction.
Knowledge of a variety of PC-based computer programs used for setting construction schedules and invoice payments for construction projects.

Preferred Qualification

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience which would enhance the incumbent’s success in the job:
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years experience in engineering, plant construction, and/or telecommunication or a related field.
Knowledge of all aspects of contract policies and procedures as well as Construction Certification Program requirements.
Basic knowledge of utility accounting practices.
Ability to interact with personnel internal and external to Telephone Group on a daily basis.
