An S&P 500 Media company is looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst to work in the Management Reporting Group located in Midtown. The individual will play a primary role in the consolidation of our divisions’ financial information to be presented to senior management. This person will be involved in weekly financial flash reporting, monthly management reporting, quarter close, quarterly forecasts and the annual budget process, along with ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the corporate finance team, the responsibilities of the Management Reporting Financial Analyst will include the following:

Weekly P&L and Cash Flow reporting
Monthly management reporting
Quarterly close
Budget/Forecast Reporting and Analysis
Ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects as needed
Assisting the Senior Analysts on the above

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Must be proactive, organized, and detail oriented
Excellent analytical skills are required
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to accuracy
Quick-learning, motivated individual with a desire to learn and understand the business
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (excel and powerpoint) is a must
Previous use of Hyperion a plus
