Description

• Primary owner of Cognos Enterprise Planning software that supports the budgeting and forecasting initiatives across all business units of Cole Haan.
• Assist all channels with monthly forecasting.
• Support the consolidation of budgets and monthly re-forecasts across the company.
• Ensure accuracy of corporate forecasts/budget data in financial planning system.
• Utilize advanced Excel and Access data management skills to continually improve existing processes and reporting.
• Leverage and understand relationship between Cognos and other Cole Haan systems to develop and deliver enhanced reporting and analysis.
• Manage team deadlines and deliverables.
• Have a vision and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and system efficiencies.
• Develop process flow documentation of current financial system processes.
• Create training document for Finance end users and conduct training sessions as needed.
• Be an ambassador across the company for Cognos EP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience with GAAP standards.
• 3+ years Financial Planning and Analysis; 3 years Financial Systems experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Appreciation of deadlines and strong sense of urgency.
• Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning, SAP, BW skills strongly desired.
• Access, SQL and advanced Excel required
• Proven ability to “think outside the box” and drive change.
