The Cole Haan Financial Planning team is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst with strong knowledge of financial planning and financial planning systems.  This is a highly visible opportunity for an Analyst to help manage the total corporate P&L and interact with all areas of the business in a fast paced, growing global retail company with diverse channels of distribution.  The right candidate must be exceptional at managing accuracy within a large data base of financial information as well as have a vision for change.

- Primary owner of Cognos Enterprise Planning software that supports the budgeting and forecasting initiatives across all business units of Cole Haan.
- Assist all channels with monthly forecasting.
- Support the consolidation of budgets and monthly re-forecasts across the company.
- Ensure accuracy of corporate forecasts/budget data in financial planning system.
- Utilize advanced Excel and Access data management skills to continually improve existing processes and reporting.
- Leverage and understand relationship between Cognos and other Cole Haan systems to develop and deliver enhanced reporting and analysis.
- Manage team deadlines and deliverables.
- Have a vision and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and system efficiencies.
- Develop process flow documentation of current financial system processes.
- Create training document for Finance end users and conduct training sessions as needed.
- Be an ambassador across the company for Cognos EP.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Experience with GAAP standards.
- 3+ years Financial Planning and Analysis; 3 years Financial Systems experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Appreciation of deadlines and strong sense of urgency.
- Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning, SAP, BW skills strongly desired.
- Access, SQL and advanced Excel required
- Proven ability to “think outside the box” and drive change.
