Human Resources Manager (Training) – SW

Description

The Human Resources Training Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources Manager (bi-plex) with the education and on-going development of all associates within the hotels that they are assigned.  This position will be required to coordinate and facilitate the training related processes in alignment with the Company’s philosophy, core standards and objective.

Minimum qualifications:
-  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
-  One to two years of organizational learning experience or hotel operation management experience preferred.
-  Responsible for supporting the Director of HR with short and long term planning and management of organizational learning and development functions.  Duties to include training, organizational and talent development; brand and service culture transformation; associate relations; budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
-  Support the Director of HR in implementing, achieving and maintaining the hotel’s and Starwood’s goals and objectives. Develop, maintain and coordinate hotel training programs that provide for specific skill training and management/supervisory development, including brand, safety, leadership, and legal compliance training.  Participate in the training budget process.
-  Obtain certification and serve as Lead Property Service Culture Trainer (PSCT) to ensure brand training compliance is achieved at all levels and inspire associates and fellow PSCTs to transform our service culture and build brand loyalty. Direct, coach and influence staff in order to maintain brand and service standards of hotel. Provide hotel-wide communication vehicles to ensure effective communication on implementation and execution of programs and initiatives.
-  Oversee, create, coordinate, schedule and track all training and  organizational/talent development programs to include but not limited to on-boarding training program, brand training, living the brand refreshers, Associate Development Program, Management Development Program, Evolve and Grow workshops, and Starwood University.
-  Participate in the establishment and implementation of annual objectives for the Human Resources Department. Serve as a partner to operational and support departments to develop a highly engaged workforce, establish clear goals and accountability, and recognize and celebrate achievements.
