About the job:
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the operations of a newly launched program for Self Storage facilities.
The role will require regular interaction with storage facility managers, tenants, as well as SpareFoot employees, and use of complex software systems.
The Operations Manager will be defining the processes that we use in the future to scale this side of the business.
Responsibilities:
Maintain online marketing materials for facilities
Track and report on program metrics
Define and improve operational processes related to tenant move-ins, move-outs and more
Manage tenant payment information
Process lease documentation
Interact with storage software systems
Requirements:
High school diploma, college degree preferred
Experience in Self Storage or Apartment Leasing industry, ideally facility management
Working knowledge of online marketing techniques
Experience with payment processing and billing software
Standard office software, especially Excel
Strong writing skills
Book keeping skills
Telephone skills (as in, not afraid to pick up the phone and call someone)
A “make it happen” attitude where you aren’t afraid to make decisions with little supervision or directions.
Bonus Points:
Direct experience in the Self Storage industry
Experience using self storage software – specifically SiteLink, WebSelfStorage, Centershift, QuikStor, or Domico.
Experience interacting with storage consumers and facility managers.
Experience with NetSuite
