Responsible for providing professional paralegal assistance to Comcast’s West Division business units with respect to a variety of matters, including, but not limited to, reviewing, revising and assisting with contract negotiations and litigation support.

Core Responsibilities:

- Communicate new and or modified contract terms and/or policies to appropriate business units to be incorporated into their departmental processes
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and relevant state and federal laws
- Acts as the initial point of contact for the business units to address legal concerns and if necessary coordinate with the Cable Law Department on a response
- Review, revise and assist, under attorney supervision, with negotiation and preparation of various types of vendor agreements including, direct sales, collections and equipment recovery.
- Manage the contract approval process
- Draft and review contract termination letters
- Assist in transactional work such as due diligence
- Assist outside counsel as directed by supervising attorney
- Assist the Cable Law Department as needed
- Manage projects as assigned
- Identify and implement new processes to increase efficiency

Skills

Skills:
- 3-5 years paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department (cable industry experience a plus)
- Paralegal certificate or license required. Associated degree preferred. High School diploma required.
- Extensive experience in reviewing, revising and negotiating various types of contracts
- Excellent verbal, written, listening and negotiating skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with short deadlines
- Ability to interact professionally with the business units and with external entities
- Regular consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
