Responsibilities |
|
Kiewit’s Northwest District has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer with Experience in an automotive or heavy equipment/ shop environment. Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and have 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role.
¿Supervision of shop personnel
¿Ensure safety and quality of shop operations
¿Determine shop efficiencies and re-direct if needed
¿Strategize and initiate shop improvements
¿Maintain shop schedule
¿Coordinate maintenance operations |

Qualifications |
|
¿5-10 years of experience supervising shop personnel machinists, fabricators, and welders.
¿Experience in heavy equipment/shop environment
¿Experience in construction industry preferred
¿Strong leadership and communication skills
¿Driven and self-motivated
¿Ability to work 50+ hours per week
¿Ability to travel as needed |
