L.L. Bean is currently searching for a Sr. Budget Analyst to join our Finance department in Freeport, Maine. This critical role supports the finance management team by preparing meaningful financial information through accurate reporting and analysis, ensuring that maximum profitability and productivity is attained.

| Responsibilities: |
- Possess and consistently apply moderate to complex financial knowledge (P&L, cash flow, financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis, assistance with forecasting and long range planning/modeling).
- Assume lead role in administering the operating budget process (i.e. templates, communication with areas, rolling up the budget, review key assumptions and identify profit opportunities, ad hoc requests from areas, etc.).
- Perform moderately complex, detail oriented financial and cost analyses independently and make recommendations as appropriate; consulting with manager on highly complex pieces of work.
- Demonstrate and maintain current knowledge of appropriate financial systems, techniques and procedures.
- Manage multiple projects effectively, including setting milestones and timeframes accordingly.
- Ensure data integrity and delivery of high quality, timely financial information and analysis within the department and to other areas of the company.
- Perform various other research and ad hoc project work and assume additional related responsibilities as requested.

| Qualifications: |
- High production and results driven
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, financial applications and modeling tools
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail are essential
- History of progressive analytical experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Production and results oriented
- Finance our Accounting degree preferred
Education Level – BA/BS or equivalent
Experience Level – 5 to 7 years
