| Description | Webster Bank is a leading regional provider of financial services with operations primarily in CT, NY, RI and MA. We are seeking an individual with elearning and content development expertise to join our human resources team, reporting to the head of Learning & Development. The incumbent will update banking and related training materials with new product information the latest business skills, while using new technology to reinforce concepts and enable a more flexible learning environment. Working with HR team members and senior management, this position will: • Develop conduct and implement training need assessments, program evaluations, instructional design methodologies and templates, and eLearning programs. • Create materials and video to effectively train both business and behavioral skills. • Develop learning solutions through the application and utilization of various adult learning principles and eLearning tools. • Design, develop, and deliver both distance and in-class Web-based training programs and courses, including all course materials, exercises, and skills evaluations. • Identifies learning-related issues, such as content sequencing, flow of information and relevancy of media, and quickly develop and implement effective solutions. • Effectively executes the following phases of instructional design methodology: needs analysis, task analysis, learning objective generation, course outlining, storyboard development, creation of participant materials and effective assessments, collaborating with management and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in all phases of the cycle. • Reviews and revises content based on feedback from team members, SMEs, management and other stakeholders, resolving conflict and making sound changes, resulting in the achievement of program goals. |
| Requirements | Position requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree; in the field of computer science, instructional design, or educational technology. Direct, recent experience with e-learning development, curriculum design, training methodologies, and online education. In-depth, hands-on knowledge of authoring technologies, intranet design tools, and multimedia applications Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional, facilitation, and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on coaching/motivational skills, enthusiasm, positive attitude, sense of urgency; and strong team player. |
