Business Process Consultants support large Government transformation and IT programs in meeting their mission objectives and program goals. Responsibilities may include:
- Collaborate with homeland security stakeholders and users to analyze their needs
- Develop strong understanding of mission goals, business processes, and functional and operational requirements
- Reengineer business processes and enable them through information technology
- Integrate solutions into homeland security environment (e.g., border management, transportation security, immigration, emergency management)
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of consulting or information technology experience (salary based on this level of experience)
- Experience in requirements analysis and/or process design focused on improving customer interactions and service
- Strong interest in homeland security
- Bachelor’s degree required
- US Citizenship required
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Government, especially agencies with homeland security missions
- Experience in consulting on large government transformation / information technology programs
- Training and/or certifications in business process design, information technology requirements analysis, and/or systems engineering (e.g., Six Sigma)
