Business Process Consultants support large Government transformation and IT programs in meeting their mission objectives and program goals. Responsibilities may include:

• Collaborate with homeland security stakeholders and users to analyze their needs
• Develop strong understanding of mission goals, business processes, and functional and operational requirements
• Reengineer business processes and enable them through information technology
• Integrate solutions into homeland security environment (e.g., border management, transportation security, immigration, emergency management)

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of consulting or information technology experience (salary based on this level of experience)
• Experience in requirements analysis and/or process design focused on improving customer interactions and service
• Strong interest in homeland security
• Bachelor’s degree required
• US Citizenship required

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the Government, especially agencies with homeland security missions
• Experience in consulting on large government transformation / information technology programs
• Training and/or certifications in business process design, information technology requirements analysis, and/or systems engineering (e.g., Six Sigma)
