Dewberry is currently seeking a Consultant to join our growing strategic consulting services group in our Fairfax, VA Headquarters. Our consultants act as client advocates to improve organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and analytics, talent management, virtual workforce strategies, organizational transformation, and process optimization. As part of Dewberry’s strategy consulting practice we help clients lead and manage change, by developing organizational leadership, assisting in technology and process adaptation and assimilation, improving learning and development, organizational culture, knowledge management, capability transfer, and communications.

• Assist with business strategy formulation, human capital and organizational transformation plans, change management programs, process optimization, and program management.
• Provide support and assistance for the development of predictive models and frameworks through data collection and analysis.
• Conduct and compile quantitative data analysis through linear regression, simulation models, trend analysis, ratios, decision trees, etc.
• Present and communicate results to senior consultants and/or clients.
• Assist with user adoption/training programs for major organizational change events associated technologies and processes.

• BA/BS in Business Management, Economics, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional environment.
• Prior consulting experience with a “Big 4” type consulting firm is desired.
• Proficiency in MS Office especially in MS Excel and MS Access
• Solid statistical understanding
  • Familiarity with software such as SPSS, SAS, Matlab, etc, is a plus.
• Interest and motivation to help drive the growth of a new service line.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential.
• Must be a team player and have a desire for success.
• Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule including overtime and travel in order to meet our clients’ needs.

Additional Requirements:

• This is a contract position for approximatly 6 months to a year with potential for full-time employment.
