Description

West Monroe Partners is actively seeking an HR Assistant to join our HR team in Chicago.  This person will be responsible for the administrative and support functions on the HR team throughout all of its divisions including Operations, Recruiting, and Training & Development.    We are looking for a team player to join our highly collaborative team.

An HR Assistant at West Monroe Partners would be responsible for the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation in a highly confidential manner
  • Hold a solid understanding of company personnel policies
  • Record maintenance and management of all personnel files
  • Assist in the quarterly audit process of various HR related systems and reporting practices
  • Handle the administrative work and logistics of our corporate training programs
  • Carry out administrative requests from all functions of Human Resources (Operations, Recruiting, Training & Development)
  • Process data entry in our HRIS and related HR systems
  • Additional administrative responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree considered a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • The ability to handle multiple projects to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High energy, positive attitude, self-starter, and independent thinker
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience in event planning and coordination
  • Previous experience working in a professional services organization considered a plus
