- 5-7 years experience in materials.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs where required.Minimum of 5 years of material experience in stockroom operations.

Position Purpose:
Under limited supervision, performs a variety of activities within the warehouse process. Verifies material for condition and insures receipts comply with corporate requirements; distributes material to using departments; performs all inventory functions within warehouse operations
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
1) Unload freight from delivering carriers, operates material handling equipment and company vehicles as required; verifies carrier waybill against material received. Ensures freight is moved to correct locations using the warehouse management system. Checks incoming freight for mishandling and damage; describes and notes damages on carrier waybills.
2) Interpret route cards to ensure accurate disbursement of materials.
3) Responsible for the allocating and issuing of material using picklist or various pull processes. Ensures pulling and timely delivery of material to meet productions schedules.
4) Place unplanned demand orders within appropriate system for picking of material and expedite to using department.
5) Moves material from one stocking location to another using appropriate inventory system.
6) Verifies accuracy of purchase parts, Mexicali, Loans/DMTs and manufacturing orders receipts (part#s, quantities, certification, and material condition). Inputs receipt data accurately into local information system.
7) May have to perform sealant mix and saw shear functions.
Might have to perform ADC material processing inspection and work with outside suppliers on vendor processes.
9) Processes stock transfers form one plant to another with accuracy.
10) Maybe required to unload, load and move engines: uncrate and move thrust reverses and nose cowls
11) Ensures proper shipping requirements are met and other employees are following shipping procedures.
12) Responsible for packaging and timely shipments of aircraft, non-aircraft material, literature and other GAC items being shipped to customer or suppliers to meet GAC needs.
13) Ensures all DOT, customs and carrier regulations are followed.
14) Separates material for delivery to using departments or transportation.
15) Expedites hot freight to using departments; ensures freight is delivered in a timely manner.
16) Inspector qualified with Q, PQ and CD stamps, able to comply with FAA regulations and Quality procedures on documentation.
17) Generates parts identification tags as required (8130-3, 307 tags, etc.).
18) Train other employees in getting Q, PQ and CD stamp qualifications, inventory systems and operation procedures.1
9) Works as a team and independently on all warehouse functions.20.Ensures housekeeping in work area and responsible for part/aisle accuracy.21) Complies with all company safety regulations.2

2) Capable of working in an automated inventory system.
3) Must possess written and verbal communication skills.
4) Shows the ability in handling responsibility of assigned tasks with no supervision.
5) Assist lead in area operation improvements.
Other Requirements:
1) Must be able to obtain and keep stamp qualifications current.
2) Able to comply with FAA regulations and Quality procedures.
3) Requires PC experience and knowledge of automated material inventory systems.
4) Able to operate forklift/vehicle.
