Waste Connections has an immediate position available for an Operations Supervisor at Green Team of San Jose, our San Jose, CA operation. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience within the transportation industry. It is highly preferred that you will be willing to relocate and it is required that you have a bachelors degree.
In this position you will personally be overseeing approximately 30 garbage truck drivers on residential routes. You will be one of three front-line supervisors for 100+ union employees. You will be involved in the hiring, training, supervising and coaching of the drivers, will participate in safety meetings, and will do ride-alongs with the employees.
