  Vice President will provide support to the SVP of the department in both areas of Strategy and Business Development and management of projects that the department will be involved in, working with senior management across MTVN.<br />
  The Vice President will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Comedy Central, Spike TV, and TV Land Strategy and Business Development.<br />
  The internal contacts this position interacts with include but are not limited to: Channel GM&#8217;&#8217;s, SVP&#8217;&#8217;s and above to support management, conductng financial and strategic analysis on key issues.<br />
The department is responsible for:<br />
- Strategy: Developing overall strategy for Comedy Central, Spike TV and TV Land!; Assisting channels on specific initiatives and projects relating to Ad Sales, Programming, Process and Organizational Structure & Costs; Transfer of best practices<br />
- Budgets and Long Range Plans: Working with individual channels the group is responsible for developing budgets and long range plans for each of the channels. The process also involves preparation of presentations for senior management at both MTV Networks and Viacom.<br />
- Business Development: Identifying and recommending appropriate action for Comedy Central, Spike TV and TV Land s potential entrance into new markets, strategic partnerships and business opportunities. Tasks include: discounted cash flow and equity method valuations, preparing presentations to obtain senior management approval at MTVN and Viacom, managing outside advisors.<br />
Required Qualification/Skills:<br />
  7+ years work experience in a strategy/biz dev group; 3 years in a top tier management consulting firm or investment bank including prior experience in M&#038;A or business development<br />
  Strong experience in excel, powerpoint, accounting, financial modeling and valuation<br />
  Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills<br />
  Demonstrated strong project management and proven leadership skills<br />
  Demonstrated ability to generate strategic insights<br />
  Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills and diplomatic skills<br />
  Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and resourceful, with a strong desire to learn<br />
  Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build consensus and work in a team<br />
  Bachelor s degree required.<br />
  Strong business ethics.<br />

Responsible for business development for contract opportunities for Logistics Services. Develop strategy for engagement, determined requirements, and oversee capture management process.  Position Objective:</p>
<p>This individual will be responsible for obtaining, maintaining and expanding CPA professional alliances with Guardian, piloting and implementing a replicable and scalable &#8220;360 Professional Alliance&#8221; program model, training field Financial Representatives (FR&#8217;s), and executing marketing initiatives targeting CPA&#8217;s as independent sales agents for Guardian individual and small business services.</p>
<p>The CPA Business Developer will exert influence without authority on the independent General Agency and its FR&#8217;s to implement and grow an effective business development model targeting small business opportunities through strategic partnerships with local and regional Certified Public Accountants.  The individual will be required to interface effectively with Home Office, where the majority of program development and marketing support will take place.  Additionally, the incumbent will influence and partner with FR&#8217;s to secure new CPA business partnership and manage existing CPA relationship and alliances, thereby increasing production by an established annual sales goal.</p>

<p>Principal Accountabilities:</p>
<p>Activity</p>
<p>Court, partner with, and manage alliance partnerships with independent CPA&#8217;s.  Influence and partner with FR&#8217;s within a Minneapolis General Agency to create new CPA professional alliances.</p>
<p>Manage and train Financial Representatives.</p>
<p>Assist in all aspects of a Pilot CPA Business Development model, working with Home Office management and marketers, while relaying relevant feedback from the field on how best to improve the program model.  Track and measure performance and production.</p>
<p>   Work with Home Office to execute and enhance marketing materials and marketing strategy to more effectively ally with CPA&#8217;s and their respective businesses and networks.</p>
<p>Qualifications: </p>
<p>Skills and Knowledge:</p>
<p>Competencies/Skills: Must be flexible in the face of ambiguity and change.  Must have excellent communication skills and proven ability to sell and market a new initiative to independent business partners.  Must be organized and adept at multi-tasking.  Must be an effective trainer and motivator with the ability to perform extensive follow-up with independent agents. </p>
<p>Knowledge:  It is helpful to be knowledgeable regarding a General Agency distribution model.  Life, health, and accident insurance licensure preferred.</p>
<p>Education and Experience:</p>
<p>Education:  Bachelor&#8217;s degree required (Master&#8217;s preferred)</p>
<p>Experience:   5-10 years of relevant experience required.  Sales, management and/or training experience preferred.</p>
<p>Other Requirements:</p>
<p>Must be available to travel 75% of the time.</p>
<p>Must have or obtain Life and Health Insurance licenses.</p>
<p>Must have or obtain Series  6 &#038; 63 or 7 Securities license.</p>

Job Description</p>
<p>Habitat for Humanity Leeward Oahu, Inc., located in Waianae, Hawaii, is seeking a talented individual to act as the AmeriCorps*VISTA Construction Development Coordinator.</p>
<p>Program responsibilities:</p>
<p>- Create a system for construction management and project management.  The VISTA member will be responsible for developing the build Site Operations Manual after close analysis of build site management by the completion of their project.<br />
- The VISTA member will work closely with the office staff and key construction volunteers to track the process of planning and permitting for build projects.  This includes networking with planning and permitting agencies to gain contacts that will streamlline the process.  The VISTA member will be responsible for creating a Planning and Permitting document that will be used by future volunteers and paid construction staff during the initial stages of the build.<br />
- The VISTA member will work with the Executve Director and key construction vounteers to develop a basic house design that will then be approved by the board.  The VISTA member will be responsible for creating a formal document that the affiliate will reference for all future projects.<br />
- The VISTA member will work to develop a safety policy for build sites that complies with the HFHI model.  The VISTA member will develop a Safety Manual by the completion of their project, create a comprehensive list of materials and safety equipment needed to comply with the HFHI model, and develop a safety briefing for volunteers at the build site.<br />
- The VISTA member will network in the community and build positive relationships with volunteers, vendors/suppliers, and local construction companies.  The VISTA member will assist in identifying potential key volunteers to take on leadership roles in construction.<br />
Required Skills</p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<p>- High school graduate with at least two years of construction experience<br />
- Effective communications (oral and written) and listening skills<br />
- Attention to details<br />
- Self-starter with ability to work both independently and with other staff and volunteers<br />
- Good computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office package<br />
- Ability to relate to people of different races, faiths and incomes<br />
- Physical ability to complete work on the job site even during inclement weather<br />
- Requires the physical ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.  This individual must also have the use of all senses, to include, but not limited to, sight, hearing, smell and taste while possessing the ability to stand, stoop, bend, grasp, and/or hold to complete warehouse work.<br />
- The position requires persons who are able to safely lift at least 50-100 pounds.<br />
- Age 18 or older<br />
- A U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident</p>
<p>Habitat AmeriCorps VISTA members commit to 12 months of service and receive a minimal living allowance.</p>
<p>Benefits include: Living Allowance, Health Benefits, In-Service Training Opportunities, Post-service $4,725 Education Award or $1,200 Cash Stipend, and Childcare! Positions begin in August and require a one-year commitment.  The Living Allowance amount can range from  $833/month to $1230/month gross depending on the VISTA service location. A member may not receive any additional monetary compensation beyond the standard allowances for services rendered as an AmeriCorps*VISTA member; VISTA members are also prohibited from any outside employment while serving. </p>
