<p>• Manage, recruit and hire a team of Inventory Counters<br />
• Provide service to both new and existing customers.<br />

<p>The Insurance Verification Coordinator interface with patients and families, insurance companies, employers, physicians and staff. Update patient demographics/information in system. Verify insurance benefits, obtaining proper authorization from insurance carrier. Determine what funds to collect for patient out of pocket upon admission. Contact patient regarding amount due within 72 hours from date of surgery. Goal: Have insurance verified minimum 5 working days prior to DOS unless case is late add on. Communicate with facility scheduler regarding scheduling issues. Communicate with physician’s offices regarding any patient information discrepancies. Communicate any non-payment cases due to insurance issues with hospital administration. You have the opportunity to interact with several different levels of people, have variety with you day to day responsibilities and enjoy weekends and holidays off. Cross training for other Business Office positions a possibility.<br />

<p>Castle&#8217;s &#8220;Rapid Survey Group&#8221; is searching for an independent contractor to perform exterior residential and basic commercial inspections in and around the Augusta area. Current volume needs are approximately 20-30 residential surveys per month and 10 commercial and farm surveys per month.</p>
<p>You will work from your home or office and travel to insured&#8217;s locations to conduct surveys, then submit electronic reports to our central office for quality review. Experience conducting residential and commercial inspections extremely desirable, but not required.</p>
<p># The residential surveys consist of exterior measurements, computerized sketch, notation of construction features, notation of underwriting concerns and digital photos (front, sides, rear, and any additional notable concerns). Appointments are generally not required for residential surveys. The reports are completed at your home or office using the Castle website to upload photos and input data using drop down menus, multiple choice checkboxes and limited narrative. The report is then submitted to the central office for quality review.</p>
<p># Basic commercial inspections involve inspecting a variety of businesses (restaurants, hotels, retail shops, gyms, etc.). The survey consists of an inspection of the business for hazards, notation of the building&#8217;s construction class, identification of protection features, photographs of the interior and exterior, and comments on additional concerns or hazards. An interview of the business owner or manager is required to generate a description of the operations. Diagrams may be required depending on the type of survey requested. <p>Job Description:</p>
<p>The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADFG), Sport Fish Division is recruiting for a permanent fulltime Fishery Biologist IV position in Anchorage. This position will serve as the Statewide Hydropower Coordinator to plan, supervise and coordinate fish and wildlife reviews on existing and proposed hydroelectric projects. This position will monitor and coordinate responses to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) hydropower and hydrokinetic projects statewide and ensure compliance with the Federal Power Act. The incumbent prepares scientifically-based comments and recommendations regarding conditions that should be included in the FERC license, and other State, Federal and local permits to minimize impacts of hydropower project developments and operations to fishery production and fishing opportunities. Decisions and recommendations are based on coordination with regional staff and synthesis of their analyses and comments. </p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<p>Plan, supervise and coordinate fish and wildlife reviews on existing and proposed hydroelectric projects;<br />
Prepare scientifically-based responses to the FERC and other State, Federal and local agencies to minimize impacts of hydropower project developments and operations to fishery production and fishing opportunities;<br />
Track the status of fishery resource reviews, issues and deadlines for potential and existing hydropower projects and operations on an ongoing and timely basis;<br />
Make decisions regarding controversial proposals that might negatively impact fishery production, fishing opportunities and access to fishery resources;<br />
Supervise 2 other biologists;<br />
Perform related duties as assigned.<br />

The required professional biologist work experience is met by service as a Fishery Biologist III, Wildlife Biologist III, or Habitat Biologist III with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer.</p>
<p>Substitutions: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, which includes or is supplemented by at least 24 semester hours or 36 quarter hours in the fields listed above, of which 16 semester hours or 24 quarter hours are course work bearing course numbers of 300 or higher.
